a. Note:   From a Fischerhude historian: "It is written in the Church book of Fischerhude that the Mueller twins [Cord & John H.] left Fischerhude to join the Hanover Guard. The Hanover Guard's duty was to protect the King of Hanover, who was that time also the King of England. Unsually the guard worked as a state police, and they were feared. Only men who could read and write could be members of this guard. They were better paid. During parade and fighting they sat on horses; very colorfufl, with saber and lance and long pistol --- it was a great honor to become members of the guard. Even the neighbors in Fischerhude were very proud, because the twins were the first and only men, who were in such high ranking military service at that time." >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
  Apr 2013: Your research fee has been received and the research completed. Unfortunately, after searching the Green Ridge Enterprise, Sedalia Bazoo, Sedalia Daily Democrat, and Sedalia Journal, I was unable to locate an obituary or death notice for Cord Mueller in any of these newspapers.

  I am the secretary of the Smithton Cemetery Assn. We recently received a request to help locate the grave of Cord Mueller who died in 1888. In searching the web, I found the 'find a grave' website for the Smithton cemetery and found Mr. Mueller's name listed there. When I clicked on this name, I found you had created the entry.
