July 11 1743 land was transferred to Robert Row, who first mortgaged the land to Thomas Walker in 1744, and then sold (with Thomas Walker) 200 acres of the land April 13 1745. The 1745 deed included the history of the transfer listed above. April 26 1748 David Watts (of Fredericksville parish, Louisa, planter) and Susanna, his wife, sell to John Minor of St. George parish, Spotsylvania, 400 acres on both sides north fork James (this would be the Rivanna), adjoining William Carr, in exchange for 600 acres in St. Thomas parish in Orange co. Va. The 400 acres was granted to John Waller Aug 9 1745, and sold by Waller to David Watts. (Sale is said to be in Hanover county) May 4 1748 The Justices ordered to go to the home of Susanna, as she is too sick to travel to court. June 30 1748 Susanna Watts acknowledges the deed. Aug 27 1751 John Hammock sells 300 acres to David Watts, the land being part of the tract "granted to Richard Hammock by John Hammock and others (Louisa co Deed book C, page 332, and 434-435) Jan 18 1752 John Henslee sells 100 acres to David Watts of Louisa co. Feb 25 1752 Benjamin Henslee sells 300 acres to David Watts. Land is on Wolf Trap branch. *** David Watts and Charles Watts served in Col. Byrds Regiment in 1755 in Orange co.Va. (per Virginia Colonial Militia)*** April 23 1753 David Watts to Charles English (no abtract/acres listed) (Louisa deed book B page 258) March 22 1758 David Watts (Fredericksville parish) sells 100 acres to John Henslee. (wife not listed in this deed abstract) Land was on south side Wolf Trap branch adjoining Major Henry. Goodman Barksdale was another witness. land was on NW side of Southwest mts., and adjoined David Watts. Dec 11 1773 David Watts Sr. sells 300 acres in Fredericksville parish to David Wood. Land adjoins John Watts and others. David Watts Jr. was a witness to the deed.
