My name is Jan Ramsey, and I am a descendant of the Ramsey and Rothwell families of Albemarle County, Virginia. (I reside approximately 50 miles from where they lived in Albemarle). I was absolutely thrilled when I recently discovered the wonderful photo you posted on Findagrave.com of Mary Shaw Ramsey Rothwell and James Rothwell! They are my great-great aunt and uncle.
My great-great grandparents were Joseph T. Ramsey and Sarah Elizabeth Rothwell Ramsey. James Rothwell was Sarah's brother; Mary Ramsey was a younger sister to Joseph Ramsey.
