Note: Mar 9, 1970 George I. Pottie, of West L'Ardoise, was buried in Sacred Heart Cemetery Friday, following funeral services in Holy Guardian Angels Church, West L'Ardoise. He died March 3 at his home. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Isidore Pottie. He is survived by his wife, Catherine Yvonne; two daughters, Miss Cecilla Pottie, Rockdale; Jan (Mrs. Walter Martell), Halifax; eight sons, Andre, Montreal; Richard, Berwick; Francis, Victor, Joseph and Leroy at home; Louchie and Cyril in Halifax; a brother, Fred, West L'Ardoise. Three daughters, Margaret Jane, Anne Jane and Annie Rose, A sister, Cassie and a brother, Clancey, are dead.
