  Notes for SOPHIE SACKREITER: Sophie Sackreiter born 8 November 1848 in Addison Twp, Washington Co, WI. and died 24 Septemer 1929 in Rochester, MN. Sophie married William Beise in Herman Twp, Dodge Co, WI. on 4 January 1866. Apparently Sophie and William remained in Herman Twp for at least a year as their first child was born there in 1867. However, their second child was born in Utica Twp, Winona Co, MN. in 1871, so sometime between 1867 and 1871 they also moved to Minnesota. Wiliam Beise was born 8 December 1839 in Hermantall, Pomerania, Germany and died 16 June 1926 in Rochester, MN. The Rochester Post Bulletin for 4 January 1926 has an article on their diamond wedding anniversary. Sophie and William are buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Rochester, MN.
