Note: Died-Nov. 3d., 1885 Samuel Giles, of Lewis county, Missouri, aged 71 years 2 months and 28 days. Deceased was born in Flatt county, Pa., Aug 5th, 1814. December 13th, 1832 he was married to Miss Elizabeth Taylor, of Westmorland county, Pa. They remained in that state until 1845 when they emigrated to Van Buren county, Iowa, where they remained 'till 1881 when they moved to Clark County, Mo., remained there a short time and removed to Lewis county, Mo.
