  Mary Ellen Waggoner, born August 31, 1849; died May 23, 1903. Married Martin Vogel, born February 25, 1850; died November 25, 1937. Both are buried in Oakwood Cemetary at Fremont, Ohio. Graves marked. Marriage ceremony performed March 8, 1877, By Rev H Lang, Fremont, Ohio. Three children: Elizabeth Vogel "Weiler", 1879; Mary Etta Vogel, 1881 to 1882; and Jeannette Vogel "Willey", 1883.
  1900 Census shows Mary as having 4 children, 2 living.

  Mary Ellen Vogel, wife of Martin Vogel, of Riley township, died Saturday night, aged 53 years, 8 months and 22 days. The cause of her death was hemorage of the lungs. The funeral was held at Fremont on Tuesday.
