a. Note:   On September 9, 1939, Jeannette Willey saw the barn, corn crib, milk barn and contents burn down on the farm. It was a big fire on a Saturday night starting at 6 pm. There was no fire truck to go in the country at that time. Everyone did the best they could to save the other buildings.

  Mrs. James F. Willey
  Grandsons were pallbearers for Mrs. Jeanette Vogel Willey, 75, widow of James F. Willey, who died in her north River road home at 12:30 a. m. Wednesday. Funeral services were held in the Karlovetz-Dorfmeyer mortuary at 2 p. m. Saturday, the Rev. Don Hochstettler of the First United Church of hrist, officating. Interment was in Oakwood mausoleum.
  The pallbearers included Richard, Gary and Robert Willey, William Eschmeyer, James Neason and Donald Dick.
