a. Note:   Christina was born in the old log house on the shore of Sandusky Bay. She married and went to housekeeping on the farm where she still resides. She had the usual hardships which fell to the lot of all children of pioneer families and has done her full share to aid her husband in the success that crowned his efforts as a successful farmer. She is a typical pioneer woman, always seeking to do the best, despite the cares of a large family she has always found time to assist others. She is now in her 93rd year and is still able to help in the care of her home. She retains all of her mental faculties and has been of great assistance in giving this history of our Scottish ancestors, as her recollections of things that happened years ago are almost as good as the records. She is the only surviving member of her generation in both the Lattimore and McRitchie familes.
