Note: ho also lived in Pocomoke City. Md I believed on Revels Neck Rd. She was 15 years old when she married a widower named Levin Thomas or Thomas Levin Beauchamp. His wife had died and left him with 7 or8 children. One a newborn. He had always liked my grandmother, she was his pet in her family. They had 7 children and he died before the last child was born, my Aunt Ida Johnson. He died in February and she was born on July 5, 1907. My grandmother raised her children by working for other people dpoing laundry and taking care of the sick. She was very close to her step daughter Sally Brittingham, who was also a widow with 2 children. Marie and Baiden Brittingham.My grandmother was called Sadie by her family because her mother was Sarah and someone else was named Sarah and called Sally.
