a. Note:   What a I remember about my grandmother is that she was the kindest person that I've ever known. She was funny, smart and had the biggest heart in
 the world. My grandmother took me under her "wing" when my parents were
 away when I was very young. I will never forget the night that my grandmother became ill. My sister
 and I were staying with my grandparents in Holcomb, MO for a few weeks in
 the summer. Grandma became ill and was taken to the hospital by my grandfather. Our neighbor, Mrs. Robinson came to the house to care for
 my sister and myself. Before I realized it, grandma had died. I felt
 very lonely after her death. Sometimes I think she is the only person
 who really was there for me. I still miss her terribly.
 My aunts and uncles have shared their memories of grandma. It is
 interesting that I've never heard them speak of her unkindly. I hope my
 aunts and uncles realize how lucky they were to have had a mother like my grandmother.
