Jessie Wilkson passed away at the home of his son, Wesley, in Tehachapi Saturday, March 25 following a stroke he suffered on Friday. Mr. Wilkson came to Tehachapi about two years ago and has made his home with his son. Jessie Louis Wilkson was born August 22, 18988 at Springfield, Missouri and passed away February 25, 1950 in Tehachapi. He is survived by his daughters, Mrs. Opal Mahota Johnson, Tehachapi and Mrs. Wanda Lavern McKee of Ponca City, Oklahoma, sons Richart Martin, Wesley Silvester and Don of Tehachapi and Alfred Lamoin, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Louis Warren of Blanchard, Oklahoma, 10 grand daughters and 1 grandson, 2 son-in-law and three daughers-in-law. Buriel services were help Tuesday February 28 at Tehachapi with Rev. Lloyd Taylor, Church of Christ, Palmdale officiating. Interment in Union Cemetery Bakersfield, California. Mr. Wilkson was a man of outstanding character, a good neighbor and a friend to everyone in need. He was a member of the Church of Christ and lifed up to the teachings of the church.
