a. Note:   The first New York State location found thus far for Joseph was
 29 Winnett ST. Brooklyn,NY He shared this address with Alexander Cocker, a Glassmaker,and David Coker a Cabinet Maker. The year was 1884.
 I am not sure of the relationships of Alexander,David,or the other
 names I will list that were found in the Brooklyn City directories. I do believe
 they are related either living in the same household ;Street,or neighborhood
 seems remote they could be strangers. Joseph names a son "Alexander" in
 1888.Was The Alexander I found Him living with in 1884 His Father,Uncle,or
 His Brother ?
 I have more questions that answers at this point in time (July 27,1996) . The search leads Me to Massachusetts,maybe the starting point in
 this country. Joseph and Sarah's first child ? Amelia was born there in 1881.
 I'm not sure if The fact that The people moved almost every year will hinder or help in my research .
 I know this quest I'm on sometimes may boarder on insanity
 a clue leads to an answer,another piece of the puzzle solved ! But wait,
 another clue and the adventure continues!!!
