Year and place of birth is a guess based on wife's age and birthdate/place of eldest child!
Eldest child born 11 Oct 1858 (ref copy of birth cert. for Mary Ann Case).
His youngest child born 26 Mar 1876. Therefore we can infer that he was alive 9 months prior to this i.e. June 1875.
Thomas Case is shown as deceased by the marriage of daughter Mary Ann
i.e. 18 May 1885.
Not shown as living with his wife & children on night of (April 3rd) 1881 Census.
Probable that he died between June 1875 & April 1881 probably aged 40 - 46.
His probable age when following children born:
Mary Ann = 23 (in 1858)
Henrietta = 32 (in 1867)
