Gerald Delmar RUNYAN was fatally injured when the vehicle in which he was travelling struck a signal light post at the railroad crossing at Mausdale, Montour Co., PA on the Milton-Danville Highway. His death was recorded at Geisinger Hospital in Danville. He is buried in Turbotville Cemetery, Northumberland Co., PA. Full page headline in Milton Standard on Feb. 16, 1939.
Gerald was a fine athlete and played baseball for the Montandon Giants.
