Note: Clifford was the son of Samuel and Margaret Wilson. He comes from a family of 7 or 8 children. The story goes his father could not sufficiently provide for the family and Clifford and his brother's and sister's found their was into an orphange.
Cllifford made his home with Jacob and Catherine Gross at about thte age of 10 years old.
