Note: ANDREW PITFOLD ( -1586) was the fourth son of Robert and although he was left land in Allington in his father's will, it is doubtful if he ever inherited, as he died in the same year as Robert. Andrew left a will in 1586 in which he left much of his estate to his father. Andrew named all of his brothers as well as his sister Helen in his will. Andrew was married to Mary Wadham, daughter of Mr. John Wadham Esq. of Catherson Leweston. Mary pre-deceased Andrew and they had no
children.
