a. Note:   CHARLES E. MURPHY, 68, DIES UNEXPECTEDLY
 Obituary, unknown attribution, June 20, 1958
  Dolgeville -- Charles E. Murphy, 68, of 81/2 Cavillis St., died unexpectedly here June 19, 1958.
 His body was discovered yesterday by a neighbor, near Murphy's home. Dr. Harold F. Buckabee said he believed the man had been dead for about three days.
 He was born Jan. 22, 1890 in Fairfield, a son of Cornelius C. and Elizabeth Kelhi Murphy. He married Lola E. Eysaman in 1922 in St. Mary's Church, Little Falls. Mrs. Murphy died in 1955.
 In 1923 he went to Herkimer where he was employed by the Standard Furniture Co. Later, he operated a news stand in S. Washington Street. He also was employed by Swatling and Peatie for a time.
 Before retiring three years ago he was employed by the McLaughlin Forestry Co. He was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church in Dolgeville.
 He leaves a sister, Miss Anna Murphy, Herkimer; and a brother, Bernard Murphy, Herkimer.
 Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday from the home of his sister, 402 Folts St., Herkimer, and at 11 from St. Francis de Sales Church in Herkimer. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetary.
