Note: Mrs. M'Evoy, Valley Native, Is Dead at 74

Herkimer -- Mrs. Anna McEvoy, 74, of 29 Harrington St., New Paltz, a former Herkimer resident, died yesterday in the Benedictine Hospital, Kingston.
She was born in Little Falls, daughter of James and Jennie Kelhi Murphy. She was married to John McEvoy in 1917 in Ilion. He died in 1955. She and her husband operated a dairy farm here for many years. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church, New Paltz.
She leaves a son, Edward McEvoy, Syracuse; two daughters, Mrs. Edward Scanlon, Little Falls; Mrs. James Pratt, New Paltz, with whom she made her home, and two brothers, William Murphy, Richfield Springs, and John Murphy, Sauquoit.
The funeral will be at 9 Tuesday from the Burns Funeral Home and at 9:30 from St. Francis de Sales Church. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetary.
