Note: Family story goes as follows: Jane's husband was a postman in Cork Ireland. A law was passed that only people belonging to the Church of England could hold government jobs. Jane was pregnant at the time and Patrick decided that he was not going to have the child baptised. Patrick and Jane where Catholic. Jane would have nothing to do with this and told Patrick that she was going to America where she could raise her child to be a good Catholic. Patrick tried to stop her but even though she was pregnant she got on a ship and came to America. Patrick followed her. She must have been one strong woman. Her daughter Delia was born in America.
