HIWASSE MOTORIST KILLED
DECATUR - One driver was killed and the other on hurt in a collision at 7:55 a.m. Wednesday on state Highway 59 about two miles south of this western Benton County town.
State Police identified the fatally injured as Danny L. Stidham, 20, Rt. 1 Hiwasse.
Hurt in the wreck was Bobby Don Daniels, 27, of Fayetteville. He reportedly was taken to Gravette Medical Center for treatment, but a hospital spokesman said this morning that he was not a patient there.
State Police said the Stidham car was southbound in the process of passing two other vehicles in a no passing zone when it collided with the northbound Daniels pickup truck.
