  !OBITUARY: Received from Ruby FIELDS, wife of Arthur, Ruby found obituary in Arthur,s mothers bible, they hadn,t known it was even in there. QUOTE: JAMES BRIGGS LOGAN; Was born 27 Feb 1861 and departed this life 30 Aug 1930. Age at time of death, 69 years, 6 months and 3 days. He was married early in life to Carolina WAGONER, and two children were born-- Anna and Maudie, the latter died in infancy. He wife died soon afterwards. He married again to Priscilla ROBERTS, and to this union, 4 children were born, three of whom are deceased, and William LOGAN of Canada, and Claude LOGAN of Sapulpa OK. He leaves to mourn his passing, 2 children, 7 grandchildren-- Grace TABOR, of Tulsa OK, Ed and Frank BESS of Sapulpa OK, and Clarence who has 2 children; 2 great grandchildren, also a neice, Mrs Frank THOMPSON of Waynesville, also another neice, Mrs Cora KNIGHT of Evening Shade MO and five nephews, Jno A FIELDS of Spring Creek MO, Michael J ATTERBERRY of Cherryville KS, Marion ATTERBERRY of Yale OK, William ATTERBERRY of Bloodland, and Newt ATERBERRY of Sapulpa OK. He professed faith in his Creator, and said he was ready to meet his Maker. End Quote. NOTE: Ruby also adds I even remember being at the funeral and one of the boys was there. I can,t remember which one, Ed or Frank... He was driving a convertible car. (NOTE: by Marjorie PACE, Daddy, ED BESS owned aconveritable. I know this because we have a picture of Daddy holding Denver Ed as a baby in front of his snazzy car.)
