a. Note:   Johann Tixel probably died from to much drinking. He was well liked and the town wit. Everyone loved him . He was 6 years old when his father died and 11 when his mother died. Guardians took over his families farm and depleted it. The lease ran out. After that he again took over the farm. He was a talented individual. Rudy Neu's Tafel shows that Johann was born a Dixel. He must of revised the name to Tixel since his children are all Tixels. Some records show his death as July16, 1922, not June.
