Note: Julia lived in Barton County, Missouri. She later moved to Dade County, Missouri. In 1860 Julia was living with her parents in Newton Township, Barton County, Missouri. (Source: 1860 Census - Newton Township, Barton County, Missouri; Page 16; #F53) During the Civil War, Julia was forced to move to Pettis County, Missouri because of chaotic lawlessness in whcih this part of the country was plunged. At the close of the Civil War, Julia returned with her parents to Barton County, rebuilt the buildings and fenses, and began life anew. In 1870 Julia was living with her parents in Horsecreek Township, Dade County, Missouri.
