Notes
a. Note:   Uncle Ray was the captain of a pineapple ship in the 1950's. He visited the port of Savannah when I was a little girl. My mother, sister and I visited his ship while in port. I remember that he had a refrigerator in his stateroom and gave us ice cream to eat and a case of pineapple to take home. I have a porcelain vase made in occupied Japan that belonged to him. I gave the matching vase to Jill Suzanne Hayes, my niece after my step-mother gave it to me.
