Note:   Funeral services for Robert F. Tillett, 64, of Beaufort, who died Thursday afternoon [Aug. 30, 1951] in Morehead City Hospital after a short illness, were held from Ann Street Methodist Church with the Rev. T.R. Jenkins officiating. Burial with full military honors followed in Ocean View Cemetery.
  Tillett, a retired Coast Guardsman and veteran of both world wars, is survived by his wife Mary; three brothers: Ray V. of Cranford, N.J., Elisha G. of Grandy, and Marshall F. of Nags Head; and three sisters: Mrs. J.L. Davis of Fair Bluff, and Mrs. W.D. Brown and Mrs. Roy Brown, both of Zebulon.
  Mr. Tillett was a native of Nags Head and the son of the late Tillman Tillett.
