Waters Homesteaded 160 Acres of land on the Gum Pond road south of Moulton, Ala. When the land was bought for the Bank Head National forest he sold his land and moved to Wren Valley for 2 year then moved to near Conway. Bought 40 acres and stayed 40 years. Sources: Sources: George Pierce Thompson married 2nd Sissie Jane Dutton February 19, 1905 in Spalding County, Georgia. She was supposedly a daughter of John C. Dutton of Gwinnett County, Georgia. He had several children with this wife. Most all other researchers have his oldest daughter Rosa Lee belonging to the 2nd wife, but she was born before their marriage and also the 1910 census for George and Sissie shows she had only one child (Edna) and that Rosie Lee was 6 years old when they had only been married 5 years.
