He was born in Columbus, Ohio, but had lived in Craighead County most of his life. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Minnie Curnutt; one son, W. D. Curnutt, of Athens, Ala.; one brother, Charlie Curnutt of Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Galyon, Knoxville, and Mrs. Ethel Miller, Californa, and several grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are incomplete awaiting arrival of relatives, but they will be held at the Pilgrim Holiness Church with Rev. Willie Johnson and Rev. Stokes conducting. A. - Felonious Assault The Grand Jurors returned into open court in a body headed by their foreman a Bill of Indictment against the defendant Walter Curnutt, for F. A. endorsed by the foreman a true bill in the words and figures following to wit: State of Tennessee, Jefferson County Circuit Court November Term, 1913.
