A. Armstrong, from all of which the court finds: That the plaintiff and defendant were intermarried on the twentieth day of April, at New Market, Tenn, 1906, and lived together as husband and wife until the seventh day of February, 1919, when they separated at Jonesboro; that there was born of this union two children, Donald, age 14, and Gladys, age 12; that the defendant failed to provide for her and the children with the necessaries of life; that he cursed and abused and otherwise mistreated her, said treatment being habitually and systematically pursued so as to render her condition in life intolerable. That plaintiff is a resident of the State of Arkansas and the County of Craighead and has been for more than one year prior to the bringing of this action. It is therefore by the court considered, ordered, adjudged and decreed that the plaintiff have and is hereby decreed a divorce from the said defendant and is awarded the custody of said children. Had company for dinner. I made a cherry pie today. Boy am I crazy about them. I don't see how you do any thing with so many children. One does me up. I can't write as good a letter as you do, for when I go to write, I just can't think of anything especially if I am tired. Will try and do better in the future. I think the pictures of you are good.
