  DEATH: "OBITUARY"; Unknown Newspaper, Athens, Limestone County, Alabama Rites Conducted for Mrs. Maude Clayton Final rites for Mrs. Maude Clayton, 76, were conducted at the Bethel Church of Christ Sunday at 3:30 p. m. Sunday with Bro. Burl Grubbs officiating. Burial followed in the adjoining cemetery, Spry directing. Mrs. Clayton died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. R. P. Lovell, North Madison Street, Saturday at 10:30 a. m. Surviving are two sons, George Thomas Clayton, Warrior, and A. C. Clayton, Memphis, Tenn; three daughters, Mrs. Lovell, Mrs. W. D. Curnutt, both of Athens, and Mrs. Claude Beeler, Oxford, Miss.; four brothers, Emmett Ball, Walter Ball, Ed Ball and Roy Ball, all of Athens; 19 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Nephews of the deceased were pallbearers.
