Note: BURIAL: "OBITUARY" Mrs. W. P. Stroud Morristown, March 13 - Mrs. Margaret Elsie Stroud, 73, wife of William P. Stroud, died today at 4 P. M. at her home near Russelville. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:30 at Rosebury Chapel, near Mascot. Burial will be in Rosebury Cemetary. Surviving are her husband; two sons, Walter Curnutt, of Arkansas, and Charles Curnutt of Ohio; two daughters, Mrs. Ethel Miller and Mrs. Bess Galyon, of Knoxville, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A son, W. W. Curnutt, died a week ago and was buried last Sunday in the same cemetery where Mrs. Stroud will be interred. Answer. Margeret MARRIAGE: "REQUEST FOR MARRIAGE LICENSE" I have the bond for marriage for W.T. Stroud, age 55 and Elsie Curnutt, age 30. It was signed 19 Aug 1916. This license has not been found at this time, so I do not know when they were married. The Hamblen County Archives charges $3.00 for look-ups and mailing plus $1.00 per copy.
