Notes
a. Note:   Nancy E. Jane Clayton Willoughby died at some point between 1849, when her son William J. Willoughby was born, and June, 1850, when her husband married again in Pike County. This is deduced from the 1850 census for Pike Co. and Pike County Marriage Records. Her son was age 1 on the census, meaning he was born about 1849, roughly a year before the census was taken in October 1850.
