GA, d. 02 Mar 1904, Dallas, Paulding Co., GA On 20 Dec 1860, in Dallas Georgia, he married (# 1) Nancy J. A. Shelton. She was the dau. of Martin Shelton and Manerva Moore. Nancy was born 09 Sept 1838 and died 10 Mar 1901 In Dallas, GA, both are buried in Dallas City Cem., Dallas. (I have no idea what the J. A. initials stand for) On 05 Sept 1901 in Paulding County, GA, John Bone married (# 2) Sarah E. Holland (I have nothing more on her) Children of John and Nancy (Shelton) Bone were: 1. Mary Ann "Bartow" Bone, b. 1861, Paulding Co., GA. She married Tom Lackey and they had 2 sons (names unknown). She was known as "Bartow" Bone, having been given that name by her father upon his return from the War Between the States, in memory of a much admired Confederate officer by the name of Bartow. 2. John Martin Bone, b. 27 Dec 1865, d. 10 May 1891 @ age 25, in Paulding Co., GA. He is buried in Dallas City Cemetery, Dallas GA 3. Minnie Medora Bone, b. 01 May 1868, Paulding Co., GA, died 03 Sep 1941 @ a hospital in Atlanta, GA: On 08 Jan 1891, she married James Overton Hitchcock, b. 03 Aug 1859, died 22 Jun 1929.
