Newman, 81, a resident of Albuquerque for 30 years passed away in a local Hospital Friday. She is survived by a sister, Miss Isabel Martinez, Albuquerque, and nieces and nephews, Miss Ana Maria Martinez, Joe and Mary Leal, Luis and Gladys Leal, Rudolph and Teresa Martinez, Salvador and Martha Munoz, and Jose and Delores Valenzuela. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. She was a member of the Rio Grande Barracks No. 117 Veterans of WWI Auxiliary, the VFW Post 401, Veterans of WWII Auxiliary, Our Lady of Fatima Women�s Guild, the Blue Army and the Holy Hour Society of St. Charles. Rosary will be recited Monday at 7:00 p. m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 10:00 a. m. at Our Lady of Fatima Church. Pallbearers will be Charlie Duran, Dick Rael, Ysidro McKinley, John Fidel, Lois Miera, and Leo Ottenti. Interment will be in Santa Fe National Cemetery. Strong - Thorne, 1100 Coal S.
