Note: N4045 James F. Martin July 24, 1951-July 3, 2017 Sumter Sumter, SC…… Mr. James "Frankie" Martin, 65, passed away Monday, July 3, 2017 following a brief illness. Born July 24, 1951 in Conway, Mr. Martin was the son of the late Leo Joseph Martin and the late James Theodore Parson Martin. He was the owner and operator of Martin's Appliances and Martin Monuments in Sumter, SC. Survivors include his son, Clinton J. Martin and wife Brandy; daughter, Paige Brooke Martin, all of Sumter; his grandson, Bruce Martin; brothers, Grady Martin of Georgetown, Roger Martin of Myrtle Beach, and Joe Martin of Conway; and a sister, Barbara Sessions of Charlotte, NC. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Friday, July 7, 2017 at Pauley Swamp Baptist Church officiated by Rev. John Holmes. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
