  Death of Mrs. Erstine Mrs. Caroline Erstine died Sunday at her home near Kings Cave after a long illness aged 76 years. She was the mother of 5 children, two of which survive her. They are Mr. Charley Erstine and Mrs. Maggie Bishop. The funeral services were held Monday morning and the remains were laid to rest at Pfrimmers Chapel. Rev. Codle conducted the services. Mrs. Erstine was the widow of the late John Erstine. The deceased was born in Kentucky and was a half sister of Mrs. Catherine Walters. Her maiden name was Clutinger.

Note:   Mrs. Caroline Erstine died at her home, four miles east of Corydon, last Saturday evening, at the age of seventy-six years. She was the widow of the last John Erstine. She is survived by one son, Charles Erstine, with whom she lived, and one daughter, Mrs. Maggie Bishop, of Chicago. The funeral took place last Monday and was conducted by Rev. Condo of the U.B.
