Note: Thomas L. Clutinger STATESMAN JOURNAL May 3, 1913 - March 21, 2001 Thomas Clutinger, 87, of Salem died Wednesday. (MARION CO.) Born in Branchville, Ind., he was a carpenter for the state of California from 1955 to 1978. In 1989 he moved to Salem from Tracy, Calif. He belonged to the Keizer-Salem Senior Center Novelty Band, and he enjoyed dancing, gardening and traveling. Survivors include his wife, Mary (Billington), whom he married in 1989; daughters, Janet Wallace and Bernice Riggens, both of Tracy, and Rene Parks of Dallas; sons, Thomas of Bonita, Calif., Edwin of Gardnerville, Nev., Byron of Stockton, Calif., and Roy Billington of Sheridan; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Faith Baptist Church, where he was a member. Arrangements are by Virgil T. Golden Funeral Service.
