Catherine is buried at Smithhenry Chapel Lutheran Cemetery, Harrison County, Indiana, age 70,
On February 22, 1997 I found Catherine's grave at Smithhenry Cemetery. Her marker was broken and under honeysuckle vines. There have been no burials at this cemetery for well over 100 years. It was over grown and trees had taken over. on marker it says wife of Peter Clutinger.
Steve and Cathy Wilson own the property and their house is only 40 feet away. I have known Steve for 25 years and he is an engineer for the railroad that I work for. I have visited Steve and Cathy several times without knowing that my great-great-great grandmother is buried on their property on Grange Hall Road.
German Lutheran Church, Smithhenry Chapel, was located four miles east of Corydon in Harrison Township. The deed was of January 30, 1850. A log church was erected in the corner of the Cemetery.
