Note: Mayme Julia Quinlin was born January 29, 1881 in Perry County, Indiana. She was the first child of Robert K. and Mary Josephine (James) Quinlin. Mayme worked in Louisville, Kentucky before she married. She had one child born July 4, 1901. She married Jack Sloan and operated a restaurant in Chicago for several years. She later married Earl Galvin and they farmed in Northern Illinois. She died in December, 1944 in Moline, Illinois.
