a. Note:   Obituary Mrs. Amanda Kell, aged 81, wife of Geo. Kell, died Tuesday, Oct. 29th at her home at Laurelburg, Van Buren Co. and was laid to rest in Laurel Creek cemetery on Wednesday. Funeral services were held at the church by Rev. Widney Kite. She is survived by four sons; Charles, Henry, Frank and Asa, and four sisters: Clarica Miller of Rogers, Ark., Mary Ann Gribble and America Clark of McMinnville and Jerusha Safley of Laurelburg.
  Grandma Kell was a loving mother and grandma to all of her children and grandchildren. She was loved by all her neighbors and had raised six children of her own and had the misfortune to have three grandchildren to raise during her life, yet she was always cheerful and bore her burdens without a murmur. Grandma was sitting in her chair, apparently in her usual health, when death came suddenly and she had passed to the great beyond. Delma Kell
