Note: The christening record of Jean does not list her mother. In 1851 Jean (35 Forfar) was an unmarried weaver residing at Bell Street Lane, Dundee with a lodger Charlotte Reid (23 Dundee). Witness to Jean's death certificate was James Hodge, Parochial Officer. He did not know Jean's parents or other information.
