  In 1861 Charles Robbie was a journeyman shoemaker residing on the west side of Burt's Close, Perth with his wife Grace and children William and Margaret. In 1881 Charles was a shoemaker residing at 149 High Street, St. Pauls, Perth with his wife Grace and children William (lapper), Alexander (glassblower), John (scholar), Mary (scholar), Charles (scholar), and Elena. In 1891 he lived in Perth with his wife Grace and children Isabella, John, Mary, Charles, and Helena. In 1901 he lived in Perth with his wife Grace and children Charles and Elena.
