a. Note:   William fought in the War of 1812 and is buried beside his parents at the Gilead Church Cemetery, Glendale, Hardin Co., Kentucky. Through all searchings, no one seems to know where Sarah is buried unless it might be in Nelson Co., Kentucky and she has no tombstone. She died before William, according to his will. He never remarried after Sarah's death.
