Note: Bennett died in the mental hospital in Hopkinsville. He went to work for the Bland family. Mrs. Bland was a daughter of Gabriel Tischneur, a well known name of the Confederate Army in KY. He lived with the Bland's until their death, then went to live with Mrs. Bland's sister, who lived near Red Mills, Hardin Co., KY. This is from Mary Jane Bland, daughter of the Blands.
