There is no proof that Mary Jane Trosper is the daughter of John Trosper, b. 1797, OH and m. Sarah Montgomery in 1819. However, he is the only John who fits the time frame in IN to have a daughter of marriageable age in 1839. The marriage records shows that John Trosper, Fa. stood up for her.
