Note: There is no proof that Louisa is the daughter of John Trosper, b. 1797, OH and m. Sarah Montgomery in 1819. However, he is the only John who fits the time frame in IN to have a daughter of marriagable age in 1840. The marriage records shows that John Trosper, Fa. & Wm. Trosper stood or signed for her. This Wm. is undoubtedly William b. 1800. They were probably brothers.
