Note: Brice lived his entire life in Madison County. He was sales manager for the Anderson Chevrolet dealership for many years. He resdided on 500 West in a home he had built in 1937. Buried in Maplewood Cemetery in Anderson, IN. Brice purchased the ground on which he built his home on September 22, 1936 from Harry and Clora O'Connor. Description is: Commencing at a point Twenty One (21) Rods South of the North East corner of the South East quarter of the South East quarter of Section Eighteen (18), Township Nineteen (19) North, Range Seven (7) East, and running thence South Ten (10) Rods, thence West Thirty Two (32) Rods, thence North Ten (10) Rods, thence East Thirty Two (32) Rods to the place of beginning. Personal physician was Dr. V. G. McDonald. Selective Service Act registration number: Madison County, Indiana # Three (3). Draft board classification: 3A. Brice worked for his father, Arthur, as a young boy on the family farm until December 1925. He left due to "roaming fever". Brice was employed by the City of Fort Lauderdale, Florida from December 1925 to April 1926 to maintain the motor and street repair equipment. He also helped on the construction and repairing of streets and bridges. Brice then moved to Hutchinson, Kansas in April 1926 to help as a farm laborer. In September 1926, Brice moved home and worked for himself on his farm. February 7, 1929, Deloc Remy Corporation became the new employer of Brice. This lasted till August 7, 1929. He then went to Hunter Motor Company. Brice started out as an office clerk. He moved to the maintenance department and then the sales department. In 1933, he took over the duties of Sales Manager and then in 1936, was appointed General Manager of the entire business. Brice enjoyed moving pictures and swimming. Rev. George Taggart officated Brice's funeral. Active pallbearers were: Richard Donnelly, Fred Safford, Frank Nealis, Adrian Good, Mark McClintock, William Seitzinger, Orville McCarty and John Fredericks. Honarary pallbearers were: Jack Hunter, R.E. Hunter, Bruce Douglas, F.L. O'Brien, Dale Donnelly, Dr. V.G. McDonald, W.F. Clawson and Edward Ronsheim, Sr.
