Note: Blanche and Lloyd Tyer met December 7, 1939 at a skating rink in Galveston, Texas. Lloyd was in the 69th Coast Artillery stationed in Galveston, Texas. They married April 17, 1940 at Granpa and Grandma Brocks house at 204 Second Street in Sugar Land, Texas by Brother Billingson. Wedding cake made by sisters Emma and Nina, Flowers by Eura. Lloyd served in the military which took the family to San Diego, El Paso, Virginia, and March Filed California. lloyd went to Noreth Africa and Sicily, Italy from 19943 to 1944. He was released in Summer when W W II ended and after 90 days at Santa Fe Railroad, he re-enlisted. This tour took them to Washington State, Germany, and England. They returned in 1957 when Grandpa Brock became ill and Lloyd went to work for Imperial Sugar Company. Blanche also joined Imperial Sugar from 1960 to 1972. After Lloyds death in 1972, Blanche moved to California where she operated Blanches Alterations from 1977 to 1986. She know lives in Fort WORTH and works at Six Flags Over Texas Themepark
