Note: Death notices: ARTHUR H. NUESSE--- On Wednesday noon after a two week illness in St. Mary's Hospital, Arthur Nuesse died of Tubercular Menengitis. At the time of his death he was a bookkeeper assistant at the National Bankd. Saturday afternoon with many participants, he was buried. The only 22 year old departed was especially beloved by the young people at St. Stephans congregation. This was apparent, that his friends from the young peoples association, of which he was treasurer, the last honor they showed him. In the house the funeral service was held in the English language. A quartett of the teachers Haase and Hillger from the church and Miss Clara Sievers and Martha Erdmann sang two numbers. In the church Pastor B. Sievers, led the service. The sermon was in the German language, based on the words of the 16. Psalm. . From there they went to Forest Home cemetery. The ceremony here was held in English, and also the Choir songs. Earlier he was a stenographer for Attorney Leo Nohl, after which he worked at Wisconsin National Bank. His survivors are his mother (Mrs. Christine Nuesse), one sister and three brothers, one of whom is George C. city editor of the Milwaukee Journal. He lived in his mother's house 326 - 16th Street.
