a. Note:   Nothing is known about when he died, but it was definitely before 1900. He is buried in the Maloney plot in St. Mary's Cemetary Avoca, Pa.
  Thomas was born in County Mayo, Ireland. There he married Bridget McKenna (born County Mayo 1851) sometime between 1868-1870. They emigrated to the United States about 1870. Their infant daughter, Margaret, died during the passage. They settled in Kingston, N.Y. where their first son, Thomas, was born in 1872. By 1875 they had settled in Avoca, Pa.
